Hey Amanda, good work on submitting your first piece of artwork to a PRO brief. This is a really great brief to get you started on as it really will help you improve your digital illustration skills. All in all a great start here and I can see the direction you're going for with your artwork. Here's a few comment and things I would suggest to help enhance it a little further:
1) I like how you have tried to combine the text and the illustration into a crest or badge style mark. I would say you could play on this a little more and tweak a few of the sections to help tie it all together more. One thing that jumps out is the padding and letter spacing on the type usage inside the scroll - it might be quite nice to try and make the letter forms even lower and wider which would then give them a touch more padding above and below within the scroll, making this area feel less cramped.
2) The 'london' text under the main title seems a little lost. You could play on this area a little more making more of a feature of the letters and the base lines used around it. I would look at customising your letter forms further to make them more unique perhaps adding some effects within illustrator. Using the 'roughen' effect subtly is a great way to add some imperfection to letters and applying a similar technique to those plain lines around it will really help make this section pop out more.
Hope that helps a little Amanda, I look forward to checking out your next round and any other questions be sure to let me know! If you do tweak this further, make sure you upload it as a 'V2' and keep this initial concept here, so we can compare the different versions and view how you are improving your skills!
