Thank you so much for your suggestion.
I will work on this.Next time I I'll take care of these things.
Don't take this the wrong way, as what I'm about to say is to push you in the right direction...hopefully. So take it with a pinch of salt, as I'm not exactly a whose who in the illustration world, but we can only progress if we allow people to be constructively critical of our. So...
Spend more time planning out your ideas. Who did you look at for inspiration?
Don't be afraid to experiment with colors, the ones you used are just flat. Maybe next time add some texture to them or use colors which 'pop'. Remember its a representation of something iconic, so you can be experimental and creative in your final piece. Think Andy Warhol and Marilyn Monroe. You know its her despite the many different color ways.
Some of your lines are off. So be more patient and take the time to get it right, before uploading. I do this music all the time. Upload before I finish because I'm so gassed. Then go back and work on it for another 2 days, till I got it how I want.
Also what was lacking was composition. As a basic example you could have split a square two with a diagonal line (so you have two triangles) and then one could have had one with an image then other with with text, similar to have you have now but more balanced. Or perhaps use the iconic US route signs and place the text in that.
Food for thought. It helps to be critical of peoples work so you can do the same with your own and look at ways to improve and I also welcome your comments good or bad.
