This is a homepage (desktop) design for the mobile service provider 'KNEKT'. Following the brief I've gone with a colourful scheme with purple and blue as the primary and secondary colours and green/orange accents for buttons. I've tried to keep the layout clean with a simple header and only three main navigation links as per the comment of the old site having too many pages. The first section on the page below the header is where users can choose which type of plan they want - I've tried to make each of the options distinct with a clear path (green buttons to progress etc.) to their respective pages. I wanted some sort of graphic so it wasn't too empty, so I made the sim cards with a bit of branding to go in the middle which I'm quite happy with. Although the brief said they only do plans, most providers today also sell handsets so I've included a "shop" section with some selected phones, and an initial section which showcases new products (this could be a carousel/slider). The other main points in the brief covered the user account/actions, so I've added a "member" area where they can either login or register, with a bit of detail on how they can manage their account online. This area would change into a dashboard when the user is logged in to display key info, with links to follow onto the full dashboard page. There's also an option to login at the top right of the header. Finally, as all mobile networks have/need support centres, I've also added a dedicated section with links to get in touch, for the user forum, and for the store finder/coverage checker, which are standard on most real provider sites. All feedback is very welcome!
